What is 3D Toolkit?
3D Toolkit is a free, browser-based 3D logo generator and on-device 3D file toolkit. Upload a mark or type a wordmark, extrude it, light it under one of 20 HDRI environments, dress it in one of 13 curated PBR materials, and export PNG renders up to 4096px, 1080p turntable video, or 3D files — GLB, glTF, OBJ and STL.
Beyond the logo editor, the toolkit ships a six-format viewer suite (GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, FBX), a 25-pair local 3D file converter, and a GLB compressor with Draco and Meshopt encoding. All of it runs inside a single browser tab.
Why your files never leave the device
Every pipeline — image tracing, extrusion, PBR rendering, format conversion, compression — executes locally with WebGL and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is required for the core tools. The same client-side code serves every visitor, so results are reproducible and private by construction.
Built on open standards
3D Toolkit speaks public formats and leans on open-source engines. The primary sources we build against:
- glTF 2.0 Specification — Khronos Group
- WebGL Specification — Khronos Group
- three.js (MIT License) — Ricardo Cabello (mrdoob) and contributors
- Draco 3D Data Compression Library — Google
- meshoptimizer — Arseny Kapoulkine
- Open-license typefaces (SIL OFL) — Google Fonts
