GLB · glTF(+.bin) · OBJ · STL · PLY · FBX — parsed locally

100%

Drop a binary or ASCII .stl print file and inspect it before it hits the bed — parsed entirely in this tab.

01 — Local

Parsing and rendering happen entirely in this tab. Your file is never uploaded to a server.

02 — PBR

Studio lighting with real environment reflections, orbit, zoom and frame-to-fit. Animation clips play back when present.

03 — Stats

The triangle count is reported on load, so you can gauge print complexity before the file ever reaches a slicer.

Questions people ask

Why does my STL have no color?
STL stores triangles only — no color, no UVs, no materials, no scene. That minimalism is exactly why 3D printers and CNC machines read it. If you need color, the source model must come from a format like PLY or GLB.
Is this STL viewer good for checking prints?
It is built for that: orbit the model, zoom into overhangs and thin walls, and read the triangle count to gauge print complexity. Parsing is local, so even large bed-sized files stay on your machine.
ASCII or binary STL — does it matter?
Both describe the same triangles; binary is just far smaller. This viewer parses either one. Converting STL to any other format preserves pure geometry, since there is nothing else in the file to keep.
